Fitted Hats For Big Heads?
There is a reason professional baseball players wear fitted hats, besides the league mandate that they wear them. Fitted baseball hats have a clean and tailored look that makes any outfit look more professional or dressed up. The same goes for non-professional athletes because individuals and celebrities alike enjoy a higher quality appearance. You can rock them with a flat brim for a more urban look, or you can curve the bill to shape your head and add sun protection from the sides of your face. The best part is that the Big Hat Store carries fitted hats for big heads, like size 8 fitted hats and 7 ¾ fitted hats in a wide variety of colors to choose from.
What is the right way to fit, shape, and wear a fitted baseball hat? That’s a bit of a subjective question, but there is a classic way to do it. A well-fitting baseball cap should sit comfortably just touching your ears with the bill resting in the middle of your forehead above your eyebrows. To break it in, you may want to lightly dampen the hat with water, and then while you’re wearing it, curve or flatten the bill with your hands to shape it the way you like. The fitted hat will then conform to your head while it dries. While the cap is new, frequently flatten or curve the bill to shape and customize the shape of the bill, and soon enough it will take the shape you desire.
You might be surprised to find out that the fitted baseball hat was actually the original style and design of the baseball hat. It wasn’t until the late 1940s that the adjustable cap was unveiled. But it wasn’t only professional baseball players that wore fitted hats back in the day. In 1969, the Apollo 11 Splashdown Recovery Operation crew was supplied with custom-fitted hats, as well as every recovery mission after that. So when you’re wearing fitted hats for big heads, know that you are in a league with not only professional athletes, but NASA heroes as well. That’s a special league to be apart of!
These baseball hats are ideal for any big head, and they can even be great fitted hats for dreadlocks or to wear a headband underneath. They offer sun protection, they cover the back of the head (no hole like an adjustable hat), and they’re exact fitting. Whichever indoor or outdoor activity you can think of, fitted baseball hats for big heads are perfect for nearly any situation.
