Yes! Credit card transactions at the Big Hat Store are protected using a secured sever and advanced SSL encryption technology. For those who are more technically inclined, our credit card processing is Level 1 PCI DSS compliant meeting the toughest standards in the industry. So, you can have confidence in shopping and ordering products on our site.

DO WE ACCEPT INTERNATIONAL ORDERS?
Yes, we do accept international orders from many countries (e.g., Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Sweden, Finland, Japan, etc.). Even so, there are a number of countries where we do not accept credit cards (e.g., Indonesia, Malaysia, Nigeria) due to past problems with fraudulent cards.
WHY ARE WE CURRENTLY NOT ACCEPTING UK ORDERS?
Due to new UK VAT regulations effective January 1, 2021, we are temporarily discontinuing sales of our products to the UK. While we greatly appreciate our UK customers, we need some time to meet these new requirements. Until then we wish you all the best!
WHY ARE POSTAGE COSTS SO HIGH FOR AUSTRALIAN AND NEW ZEALND ORDERS?
Due to recent United States Postal Service (USPS) staffing shortages and shipping constraints, the standard rate we had been using for shipments to Australia and New Zealand has temporarily been suspended. Instead, we must use priority express mail which is faster, but substantially more costly. Hopefully, this issue is only temporary so that we can resume using the more reasonable rates we've offered in the past.
HOW TO IDENTIFY HATS ON OUR SITE MADE IN THE USA
We do understand and support many of our customers’ preference to purchase products made in the USA. Since many of our big hats are manufactured in the USA, we’ve added a note (“Made in the USA”) to our individual product descriptions to allow you to identify these hats. In addition, we’ve also provided you with the option of entering “USA” (don’t include quotes) in the search function near the top of the screen to list all hats made in the USA.
WHERE DO I ENTER COUPONS CODES?
Coupon codes are entered after you press one of the Check Out Buttons (Standard Check Out, PayPal, etc.) in the shopping cart. For example, after selecting the "Standard Check Out" button in the shopping cart, a Contact Information Screen is displayed which includes a field to enter the coupon code. For other payment methods such as PayPal, the coupon code is entered later in the process. In any case, if you are having trouble entering a coupon code, just contact Customer Service by clicking here. Or, if you've already placed an order and could not find where to enter the coupon code, our Customer Service staff will issue you a credit later if you contact them.
DO WE ALLOW MAIL IN ORDERS?
Yes, we do allow mail in orders. Best and easiest way to handle this is to: 1) Shop and place items into the shopping cart and then printout the shopping cart 2) Add the flat rate shipping amount listed on the shopping cart page to the total 3) Make out a check or money order for the total amount (i.e., hat cost plus shipping) to the "Big Hat Store" 4) Mail your order including check or money order to Big Hat Store, 2331 Cheswick, Troy MI 48084. Note - If you're having difficulty printing out the shopping cart, it's okay to write down the items you'd like to order on a piece of paper including shipping costs and use that instead.
HOW DO I TRACK MY ORDER?
For Domestic orders - When your order ships out, you will be sent an email containing your shipping address, shipping date and a link to check on the shipping status of your order.
For Canadian and International orders - When your order ships out, you will be sent an email containing your shipping address and the shipping date.
ARE YOUR HATS LARGER AROUND AND DEEPER THAN NORMAL HATS?
Absolutely! Our big hats are larger around, have more depth, and contain more cloth than normally sized hats. Our hats are made from custom patterns specifically designed for people with big heads. Big Hat Store hats won't ride up on the top of your head like a beanie or other hats. They are designed for great comfort, fit and looks!
ARE YOUR BASEBALL HATS ONE SIZE FITS ALL?
No! Our hats are offered in multiple extra large sizes including 2XL, 2XL-3XL, 3XL, 3XL-4XL and 4XL with each size made to fit progressively larger head sizes. We also offer fitted hats designed to fit exact sizes such as size 7 3/4 and size 8. Refer to our sizing charts for specifics. The depth of our hats is substantially greater than one-size-fits-all hats. Our hats will not fit mere mortals (people with normal sized heads).
