Perfect for every day, this Indiana Jones Outback hat will complete your adventurous look. Made of 100% wool felt with leather trim, it is water repellent and crushable. It will easily pack, roll or fold into a backpack or suitcase and when pulled out it will spring right back into shape. Although it's not technically a cowboy hat, we've added it to this collection since it does resemble an oversized cowboy hat.

Perfect for Our Needs

My teenage grandson needed a western style hat for a school play, but wears a size 8 and we couldn't find one that big locally (at least not for under $300!) We needed it ASAP and the Big Hat Store took care of us! Thank you!

Excellent But Different

2 year review of previous hat first. I bought this same hat 2 yrs ago and for the last year wore it almost every day. It faded badly in the sun but still looked good. I let lack of maintenance get out of hand to the point it couldn't be cleaned, but was still happy with the purchase.

I ordered another August 2023. Same manufacturer etc. It did not look the same. It had more curve to the brim which took a little getting used to. It also had a different color. It was more of a gray-ish black than brown. That didn't bother me either.
I order a 2x instead of the previous 3x because the previous larger hat was a tad big (size 8 needed) but the current 2x hat fits perfectly and is very comfortable and this is what my review comes down to.....

These hats are good looking, are well made given the wear I got from my previous hat which I now use as "work" hat. And it is great to be able to get a hat that fits properly.

Recommend The Big Hat Store for all your large noggin' needs.

Indiana Jones!!

I love my new Hat, except for the "Indiana Jones" tag on the leather strap which is poorly attached with a dab of hot glue? anyway its also way too big i have a large head 7 7/8 i used the added sponge strap but it wasnt enough deciding if im gonna send it back......ill get back to ya!
